Technical Services Technician:
Based in Luton
A full time permanent position has become available for a commercial heating and ventilation engineer within our busy Technical Services Department.
Working within a team on a fully rotating 24hour shift pattern, the successful applicant will be expected to perform reactive and pro active maintenance responsibilities within the aerodrome building services environment including; planned preventative maintenance to commercial boilers, air handling units, cooling towers and all associated equipment.
We are looking for flexible, creative and enthusiastic individuals with a good working knowledge with all aspects of building management systems particularly those associated with HVAC systems. If you are educated to City & Guilds (or equivalent) within the relevant building services environment, have a full clean drivers licence and is able to demonstrate that through formal training or apprenticeship schemes and or practical experience have gained underpinning technical knowledge and skills in engineering we want to hear about it
Applicants will be expected to have attained ACS/ACOP certification in commercial gas and be able to work to current health and safety legislature. You will also need to be physically fit and happy to work in all weather conditions.
The salary for this role is £30,980 based on a rotating shift system of 37 hours per week.
Essential: must have HVAC experience and a ACS/ACOP certification
