Description

Job Purpose:
To fully machine components from drawings and ensure the quality and on time delivery. To work in a safe and flexible manner as part of a team with a very high level of housekeeping. Various shifts are available.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fully machine parts as required from drawings supplied
* Program components on machine using information provided
* Save all programs and set up sheets after every job
* Assist Shift leaders and engineers with any tooling or material matters
* Ensure on time delivery
* Ensure quality of parts is to the standard required
* Transfer into Manual machining if the workload requires it
Person Specification:
Work Experience
* Background within a batch / prototype-manufacturing environment.
* Preferred industry would be Motorsport, aerospace or research and development.
Education/Qualifications
* Apprentice Trained

* A can do approach. Must possess a positive attitude and display the ability to identify alternative solutions to problems.
* Relentless in exceeding customer expectations and continually exceeding goals.
* A commitment to achieving the best solutions i.e. rigorous approach to work.
* Creativity. Endeavour to find new ways of doing things and learn from past experiences.
* Flexible attitude is essential.
* Pro-active approach to the requirements of all areas of the motorsport operations.
