Description
Payload Project Manager – Kent - £35k to £45k
This leading commercial aerospace company, a world leader in the design, manufacture, and operation of high performance small satellites, has the requirement for a Payload Project Manager.
You will manage high performance optical payload projects from contract through to delivery in orbit and operations.
Key Tasks.
To manage technical projects.
To be responsible for all aspects of the project within the established procedures and processes.
Preparation of cost packs and controlling budgets.
Active monitoring and management of the project progress and milestone deliveries.
Provide reports on project to projects and engineering directors.
Position: Payload Project Manager
Salary: £35k to £45k
Location: Kent
To succeed in this role you will need to have a degree or equivalent in an engineering or technical subject.
Proven Project management ability, ideally in a satellite or engineering/aerospace industry.
Good experience of implementing contracts.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Understand contracts and product assurance plans.
Proficient in all MS Office packages and knowledge of Microsoft Project would be good.
This role is based in Kent but will require frequent travel to Guildford.
