Software Engineer / Team Lead – Radio Communications – Embedded C++
Salary c £45K - £50K
Basingstoke, Hants
Software Engineer required to lead the development and support of software of new and existing communication products within the BOWMAN team. You would be required to provide software development expertise to bids, proposals and business development activities.
The successful software engineers should have extensive hands on software development experience and team leadership in design implementation and integration of complex realtime software systems using C++ in an embedded multiprocessor environment including DSP, Intel i86 and PowerPC. Ideally you should have experience of developing government certified secure systems, debug and test from Black box level to the use of in-circuit emulators. Software development should have been done in a forma quality controlled software environment – ISO 9001, TickIT.
Experience should also include some of the following:
UNIX/LINUX application development
UNIX/Linux O/S
IP network and routing protocols
Wireless networking protocols
Radio / Modem communications systems
Realtime embedded software design
C/C++
Software configuration management
DSP techniques
OO design
UML
