Description
Aircraft Systems Integration Engineer
Surrey/ SW London
Salary c to £45K + Package
Our clients provide complete solutions for both fixed and rotary wing aircraft within civil and military sectors.
The successful applicant will be working in both rotary wing and fixed wing environments, specifying and designing avionics subsystems (communications, navigational and AMS) and integrating these subsystems into a variety of avionics systems.
Candidates should have a good understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle from requirements capture through to systems acceptance with a good basic knowledge of avionics – particularly communications and navigation. You should have proven experience in aerospace design/development with exposure to more than one of the Air Vehicle disciplines, providing an overall view of the product lifecycle through to manufacture and subsequent delivery to service. Experience of working in multi disciplinary teams with a proven ability to understand and resolve technical problems – often with conflicting requirements is required. A solid background in Systems Engineering with a strong Avionics and Avionics Management Systems and Platform Integration background.
Experience should also include some of the following:
§ Working knowledge of aircraft system integration
§ Competent understanding of systems architectures development
§ Systems requirements
§ Documentation
§ Systems test
§ Satcoms systems
International travel will be required.
