Description
Senior Logistics Engineer – Simulation Engineering , Defence/Aerospace
Primary Purpose of the Role -To undertake all aspects of Logistics Engineering from proposals through design, production and into service, will include LSA, AR&M, LCC and Spares Provisioning analysis.
Key Tasks – The Senior Logistics Engineer will provide expertise in all aspects of Logistics Engineering, including the ongoing development and maintenance of the Logistics Engineering Database. Develop, maintain and apply pragmatic processes encompassing the principals of Integrated Logistics Support. Represent the team in meetings with customer, programme management and engineering management. Prepare bids, including estimating of tasks and preparation of words for inclusion in customer proposals.
Technical & Professional skills - Numerate, computer literate with the ability to analyse complex engineering information, able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff within the company. With working knowledge and experience of Logistics Engineering practices. Budget control and scheduling skills. Computer literate . Experience of Logistics Engineering processes. Experience with database tools.
Education & Qualifications - A suitable degree (with maths, science and engineering content) or HNC or equivalent, plus strong experience of engineering in simulation, defence and/or aerospace.
