Description
Our client is a new Oxford based company formed to advance laser micromachining applications world-wide. They have an immediate vacancy for a Commissioning Engineer to join their expanding team.
In this role you will be able to commission and support the final integration, test, tune and installation of prototype and development laser machines.
You must be educated with a Degree or HND in an Engineering discipline with knowledge of motion control systems, background in automation electrical fault finding, understanding of electrical schematics, conduct acceptance tests with customers, carry out on site customer training, provide telephone support to customers and assist with operator manuals.
Experience of lasers or optical systems and knowledge of VB programming would be advantageous.
This position will require some foreign travel to our manufacturing partner and sister manufacturing company in Taiwan and Hong Kong.
