Description
Our client is a leading manufacturer of CNC Machinery and is currently seeking an experienced ?Customer Technical Support Engineer' to join their expanding business.
Role & Responsibilities:
•Giving support in response to customer requests via emails, telephone calls, etc regarding service and breakdown issues.
•Pro actively scheduling and quoting Planned Preventative maintenance calls with customers.
•Assisting in the management of the ?Out of Hours Customer Support' package.
•Assisting the Customer Service Manager, in the daily management of the department by generating reports and actioning the requirements of those reports plus generating key indicator reports etc.
•Responsible to ensuring that the Technical Library is current to meet the Companies Procedures
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
•Experience within the Machine Tool Industry
•Good communication skills
•Good product knowledge
•Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
•Will consider people from a Service Engineering background
