Description
This international business psychology consultancy is looking for a Business Systems Applications Delivery Manager to join their rapidly expanding and innovative organisation.
The overall purpose of the role is to manage the provision of the business systems process and applications within the company to deliver high quality, reliable and competitively priced solutions and services.
Your principal accountabilities will include;
- To manage all aspects of Business Systems projects
- To lead, motivate and develop a skilled Business Systems Team
- To develop and implement Business Systems strategy to meet business requirements
- To propose and manage the Business Systems budget
- To manage relationships with 3rd party providers of IT services
- To ensure that the day-to-day IT needs of the company run smoothly
- To develop a business continuity plan
You must have extensive experience of managing IT programmes and teams that include project management, business analysis, development and implementation; significant IT development experience using Microsoft technologies supporting and developing business critical web delivered applications preferably using the SAAS model; experience of working with SQL Server databases; experience of working on all phases of a project lifecycle from business analysis through to implementation and support; business analysis skills to gather, validate and document business needs and possess high quality software development skills principally using Microsoft programming tools including .Net, SQL Server, HTML and ASP.
In addition, you will be client/commercial focused, possess excellent interpersonal skills, have a strong ability to problem solve, demonstrate innovation and initiative as well as having strong man-management/leadership skills.
Prince 2 Certification or equivalent is essential for this role and other Microsoft Certifications would be highly advantageous. | | |
