Description MISSION SYSTEMS TRIALS OFFICER / WILTSHIRE / TO £40K
Challenging role for an Evaluator/Trials Officer to work within project team(s), taking responsibility for the assessment of avionics, communications, navigation & weapons system related to military aircraft
- We are keen to hear from Flight Test Engineers or ex Military Officers with relevant experience or aerosystems qualification
- Flight test trials exp advantageous
- Knowledge of aircraft avionics & weapons systems desirable
- Understanding of military airworthiness processes also desirable
This engaging role for a Mission Systems Trials Officer encompasses the following:
* Conduct specified avionics/weapon systems assessment trials, including Mission Computer Operational Flight Plan, avionics system integration/functionality & weapon aiming assessments
* Plan/execute assessments (desktop, avionics rig & flight trials)
* Produce trials documentation (Evaluation & Test Strategy, Trials Instructions, Flight Test Cards)
* Brief/debrief aircrew during flight trials
* Analyse/assess rig/flight trial results
* Produce technical assessment reports to include Military Aircraft Release Recommendations | | |
