ILS / ARM SUPPORTABILITY ENGINEER / BUCKINGHAMSHIRE
TO £40K
Great opportunity for an ILS/ARM Supportability Engineer to carry out Integrated Logistic Support, Reliability, Maintainability, Availability, Through Life Cost, FMECA & Fault Tree analysis & produce ILS/ARM analysis & reports to meet the needs of bids & projects & support the ILS/ARM Manager. We are keen to hear from engineers with:
- Suitable exp providing ILS/ARM support within the defence sector
- Other key talents include ability to understand design concepts as described by Design Engineers
- Exp modelling, analysis & prediction of Reliability, Maintainability & Availability of complex systems using PC based tools
- Writing ARM Plans, ARM Demonstration Plans
- FMECA analysis
- Exp of ILS analysis techniques & DEF STAN 00-60 ad ARM to Defence Standard 00-40
- Used Reliability Workbench, RAM4 & Sparecost or similar tools
- Exp of Through Life cost prediction desirable (e.g EDCAS)
- In service failure rate analysis & reporting (DRACAS) / (FRACAS)
- Use of DRACAS tools
- Exp of Supply Chain Management & LSA
* This varied & challenging role is based in the Customer Support Group as part of the C2 Equipment Business Unit which provides specialist support on AR&M, ILS, Safety, EMC, Product Legislation, Design process, Component Selection, & Technical Publications to Projects & Technical Proposal work across the organisation
* The ILS/ARM Supportability Engineer will work independently or in a small team of engineers providing ILS & AR&M support in terms of analysis & reports for projects
* Also bid support addressing ILS & AR&M requirements & establishing product support solutions in identifying product Related Design factors of products such as reliability & maintainability during the design process | | |
