Description
SIGNAL PROCESSING EXPERT / SOMERSET / £45K-£55K
* We are keen to hear from Signal Processing Experts with expert status in field of signal processing
* Other talents must include an excellent understanding of at least 2 of the following Defence areas: Radar systems, particularly synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems, sonar, communications & EW
* Also an excellent understanding of digital signal processing in the Defence context.
* Good understanding of sensors & related systems
* Broad understanding of Defence sensor & surveillance systems
* Hands on exp of Defence related contracts
* Other specific skills will include an understanding of the fundamental underpinning science, design, construction, exploitation & advance processing of: SAR design (SAR, Sonar, Communications, EW)
* Liaison with customer & subcontractors on technical issues relating to systems engineering & system design
* Managed allocated budget & resources to meet agreed milestones & deliverables
* Capable of demonstrating understanding of design issues relating to Complex Systems, or System of Systems
* Architecture modelling, theoretical analysis & requirements analysis
* Design & evaluation of algorithms |
