Description
This post requires an experienced Engineer to aid in production test of anything from PCB's to complete assemblies and systems. Able to diagnose and repair returned faulty equipment to component level. Will occasionally be required to go to customer's premises to carry out repairs. Will be able to write test documentation i.e. test specifications and test results. Design of simple test jigs. Will work in a small team. Reporting to Production Manager. Must be presentable, clean driving license, able to work unsupervised, good understanding of electronics, qualified to a minimum of HNC (or equivalent). Good soldering skills, experience of surface mount components.
Salary Up to £22,000 p.a. (according to skills & qualifications)
37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
Overtime payable at an enhanced rate
24 days paid holiday (inclusive of bank holidays).
