Description
Our client who is a web based company is looking for a C# developer to work with the development team, database team, quality assurance, project managers, user experience team and the business analysts.
Key duties;
?Writing ASP.NET 2.0 (using C#) front end user interfaces
?Writing middle tier libraries and services using C# 2.0 and Windows Communication Foundation (C# 3.0)
?Writing nUnit tests before any functional unit of code is implemented (Test Driven Development methodology)
?Participate in design discussions and provide input to specifications
?Implement and uphold coding standards and best practices for application development using various code analysis tools such as FXCop
Key skills
?Graduate with a minimum 2:1 honours or several years relevant experience
?3 years commercial experience and a thorough understanding & proven ability programming in ASP.NET using C#, and working with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, XPath and XSLT
?Minimum 3 years experience of n-Tier development on the Microsoft platform
?Experience of Object Oriented programming
?Experience of Test Driven Development
?Experience of working in technical and business teams using Agile methodologies
?Experience of developing user controls and custom controls
?Familiarity with Microsoft Enterprise Library
?Understanding of dependency injection and object relational mapping
?Understanding of Ajax technologies and toolkits
