Description

This role is within the Global Engine Development (GED), Validation Team.
The Role:
A member of a multi-skilled team operating within a world-class facility, you will be responsible for providing engine data for new product installed in prototype machines at scheduled machine reviews
You will assist the complex validation of both current and future products and components
Working closely with GED Programme Management to ensure timely communication of NPI programme deliverables and machine test programs whilst maintaining standards in quality and safety
Main tasks will include:
Communicate machine gateway timelines and expectations to NPI technical leads
Promote the use of System Readiness Summaries
Liaise with Global Machine Development and Machine Development Europe
Manage communication with L6 Validation leaders
Promote the use of corporate planning tools within the validation community
Maintain excellent communication with UK/USA staff
Drive for perpetual excellence when communicating with customers
Apply a positive and diplomatic approach when in front of the customer
Requirements:
Requires experience of managing customer communications
Self motivated and able to work on own initiative
Committed to continuous improvement, with an understanding of 6 Sigma
PC literate, familiarity with MS Office, Primavera/MS Project experience advantageous
Strong team player with good interpersonal skills
Ability to update and maintain records as required
