Graduate Engineers:
If you are looking for a job with a large organisation that offers you a chance to make a real and valued contribution to a progressive, global organisation, this opportunity could be for you!
A graduate opportunity with our client guarantees excellent work experience and career opportunities within a world class Engineering organisation. You will have the support of dedicated, professional staff who understand graduate placements and who are anxious to help you put the theory you have learned into practice. The ability to organise and work in a team-based environment is essential.
You will put your engineering skills into immediate use working in a real position in the dynamic and challenging field of modern diesel engine design and development. Aggressive product objectives driven by demanding legislative and customer requirements contribute to make this area of work one of the most interesting and challenging environments in which an engineer of any discipline can work. An ideal opportunity to gain an insight into the world of engineering.
Within the group there is a diverse range of disciplines. You will be working within various teams supported by a dedicated team, and be given your own goals and responsibilities along with appropriate on-the-job training. In return we ask for your enthusiasm, commitment, flair and energy.
Graduate Engineers become a part of the engineering team and as such are expected to deliver from an early stage - albeit with guidance. We seek to find a good 'fit' with your expectations; a successful candidate will need to be numerate, computer literate, logical, energetic and keen to contribute. An interest in engines is essential. You will have completed a degree in Mechanical, Automotive, CAE or Design Engineering. We are particularly interested in hearing from people with a 1st or a 2:1 (minimum) result and graduates who have industrial placement experience within an automotive capacity.
You will be working within a variety of the groups below
Mechanical & Development, Validation, Performance & Emissions, Controls Engineering, Analysis, Research, Materials Engineering, Global Engine Development and Test Engineering
To apply for these positions please forward your CV and covering letter, including details of your eligibility to work in the UK and your anticipated/achieved final grades for your most recent academic course
