Description
A leading worldwide manufacturer of Diesel Engines for the Medium Duty 'Off Highway' Diesel Engine market require a dynamic and experienced Design Engineer to strengthen their Design team.
The Role:
Joining a small team of highly motivated engineers in a fast moving environment with significant scope for career development, the applicant will be expected to take responsibility for:
Engine system/component Design in a multi project environment
Design for assembly and manufacture in a commercially focused company
The preparation and presentation of formal design documentation to include; specification, FMEA, change documentation and drawings
Requirements:
First Degree in relevant discipline preferred, HNC minimum
Some (2 Years) engine system/component design experience
Candidates will be expected to demonstrate understanding of the engineering reasoning behind their designs
3D CAD system operation (Unigraphics preferable) and drawing office experience
Candidates are likely to be “well rounded” individuals who must have a sound grasp of engineering fundamentals and must have the personal drive to “make things happen” in a fast moving highly demanding environment
