Mechanical Design Applications Engineer
to c. £26,000 Thames Valley
Metallurgical Plastic Engineered Components
For market leading specialist subsidiary of Major US Engineering Multinational who provide bespoke mechanical components with highly technical thermal and EMC performance characteristics for high technology applications such as next generation mobile Telecomms, computers, industrial electronics, navigation/guidance systems and avionics.
As a result of internal promotion an opportunity has been created for a commercially minded mechanical designer who combines an excellent, graduate level academic pedigree with an interest in representing the business directly to its customers, whilst using their technical skills to develop solutions to highly specialised systems engineering development problems.
In addition, candidates will need to display:
· Strong 3-D CAD skills
· Knowledge of Engineering Plastics (ideally injection moulded)
· A naturally communicative, positive style
· The ambition to develop a career in a multi-subsidiary, multinational business
