Description
Validation Technician/Engineer required for a global automotive company to design, develop and execute EMC and environmental testing on powertrain products.
Main Responsibilities:
• Assist in the design and authorship of environmental and EMC test plans for the automotive Powertrain environment.
• Provide engineering assistance to Project manage and execute testing as per agreed plan.
• Develop and specify test hardware and software requirements to enable projects to be exercised and monitored during environmental exposures.
• Perform testing as required to meet program timings.
• Administration of project records and documentation in line with the agreed product development process.
Skills & Experience: Bachelors Degree in Engineering (electrical, electronic or mechanical), HND or equivalent experience. Proficient at interpreting technical and test specifications. Electrical and electronic design. Familiar with automotive environmental and EMC test specifications. Knowledge & understanding of environmental tests and test design. Knowledge and/or experience of performing RFI/EMC testing. Strong MS Office skills -Word , Excel, Project. Project and time management.
