Electrical Engineering Lab Assistant - circa £18k
Guildford/Surrey
A leading aerospace company now has the need to recruit an Electrical Engineering Lab Assistant to help and assist in maintaining the Electricacl Engineering Lab in accordance with company procedures.
Some of your key tasks will be:
- Assemble and align in-house test equipment and cable assemblies.
- Maintain inventory lab equipment.
- Facilitate repairs and where appropriate seek quotes for test equipment.
- Maintain Electro-Static Discharge protection facilities.
- Undertake PAT Electrical Safety Testing.
Qualities that we are looking for in potential candidates are:
- BTEC or similar with an aptitude for electrical engineering, qualifications are essential though as day release to study may be considered.
- Practical hands-on ability.
- Good GCSE grades or equivalent in English and Maths.
