Junior Buyer/Planner (Contract)
Aerospace – Power Systems – Electronics
Based: Buckinghamshire
Role:
An opportunity with one of the Aerospace's industries most successful companies you will ensure timely delivery of products to meet agreed production schedules. You will liaise with supply chain to identify and resolve resource issues whilst managing activity to meet production objectives. This is a great opportunity for an entry level or trainee buyer to commence their career in procurement, gaining experience with a multi-national company.
Candidate:
The ability to read and understand component drawings coupled with process specifications is a required. Experience within a manufacturing environment or the planning / purchasing arena coupled with a knowledge of stock replenishment tools such as MRP, Kanban, DLF would be an advantage. The ideal candidate will be able to work with a minimum of supervision whilst demonstrating a high level of ability and aptitude.
