Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 + Bonus

Skills you must possess to be considered for this role
· Ideally you will have worked as a warehouse manager, or are an experienced team leader, within either a manufacturing / FMCG or distribution environment.
· A good working knowledge of warehouse management systems.
· You will be computer literate and have worked in an ISO quality environment.
· Experience with setting and achieving KPI's.
· You will have excellent people and communication skills.

The Role
As the Warehouse Leader your main purpose will be to lead the site warehousing, inventory and despatching operations in order to achieve agreed objectives in a safe and cost effective manner. You will also be responsible for:
· Lead and manage all direct reports to achieve departmental and site KPI’s.
· Develop, improve and implement policies and procedures to ensure that the department functions in an efficient manner in line with agreed KPI’s.
· Ensure that all departmental KPI’s are kept up to date at all times.
· Control department expenditure, remaining within budget targets.
· Manage and support the Inventory Record Accuracy System and the IRA team to ensure stocks of materials are correct and present before production to prevent line down time/support OEE improvement.
· Design, develop and implement procedures for all aspects of the warehousing, inventory and logistics function e.g. handling of returnable packaging to supplier.
· Identify and lead logistics and warehousing projects on site as requested.
