Description Territory Manager / Sales Manager

Summary
To apply you must have – A degree or equivalent, good selling / negotiating skills, knowledge of sales / account management, be self motivated, be PC literate, and a full clean driving licence.
Purpose of Position
§ To develop and grow profitable sales of products in a geographical territory. § Create and exploit new profitable opportunities in the given territory. § To manage the business between Wholesale distribution and Retail customer as well as direct Customers. § To ensure that the brand is recognised as a market leading supplier, and is established as the preferred supplier to it’s customer base
Responsibilities
§ Identify the commercial priorities on the territory. § Create and deliver area funnels within given timescales. § Develop relationships with major and potentially major customers. § Create and implement a workplan that is updated weekly. § Delivery of the Personal development plan.
Skills / Competencies / Behaviours
§ Selling and negotiating skills – Selling the brand as well as the product. § Self motivated & priority driven. § Ability to understand and analyse data. § Good communication skills to Principle decision maker level. § Ability to ‘manage up’. § Ability to work in a structured and planned manner. § PC literate – to intermediate level. § Numerate. § Team player. § Knowledge of account management.
Education § Graduate or equivalent.
