The Role: Mechanical Design Engineer (FEA/STRESS Engineer)
The Location: West Yorkshire
The Package: £24,000 - £27,000 Basic + Bonus + Bens + 26 Days Holiday
The Person:-
As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will have at least 2 years experience in a Mechanical Design Role and will have a thorough knowledge of the following:
" Mechanical Engineering (MUST be qualified)
" 3D Design Software (Preferably Solidworks but others will be considered)
" Good knowledge of FEA (stress, friction, fatigue, failure of materials etc)
FEA knowledge is the most vital credential for this role so only applications from candidates with this type of hands on experience will be considered. Candidates that have worked in an environment where the materials used for design are; Metal, Wood, Fabrics, Plastics, Foam will be at a distinct advantage.
The Role: -
As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for working with the existing Design Engineers and CAD Technicians to create a multitude of products used in the Medical sector. You will be the mechanical expert on site and will be tasked with conducting FEA on all products to check all stresses, strains, fatigue and failure of materials to ensure that each and every product is manufactured to the highest possible standard.
