Our client provides treatment of the musculoskeletal system with products that include joint implants, trauma devices and biological products.
Our client is currently looking to recruit a Project Manager to join their team based in Leeds. The main purpose of this role is to be responsible for the commercialisation and delivery of products to the Orthopaedic market. Within this role, your main responsibilities will include understanding, incorporating and complying with all applicable laws and regulations regarding business activities, managing products within the portfolio and ensuring that specific business goals and objectives are achieved. You will also be expected to manage and track project budgets with components that include human resources, prototypes, suppliers and general expenses, actively address offensive and defensive infringement and patent protection as it applies to projects and support the research and development process with design surgeons and customers.
The successful candidate will have worked in a similar role previously and will be educated to degree level or equivalent in a technical field. It is essential that you have experience of project management and that you have a basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles. You will be extremely customer focussed with experience of developing, manufacturing and releasing products in line with customer specifications / needs. You will be confident when dealing with people at all levels and you will be happy to present information to large groups. Along with your excellent people management skills you will have good negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Experience of medical devices would be advantageous but it is not essential. | | |
