PRINCIPAL MECHANICAL ENGINEER / CAMBS / £NEG
* Fantastic role for a Principal Mechanical Engineer with a creative approach to problem solving/concept generation
* Applications are sought from candidates with significant industrial experience in product development people & proven ability managing a team of engineers/technicians
* Appreciation using engineering analysis in product development
* Hands-on 3D CAD, rapid prototyping, CFD, some FEA
* Exp of product development in consumer product/automotive industries beneficial, knowledge of high volume manufacturing processes & electromechanical technology
* Essential exp: Fluent or other CFD package, CAD - Pro/Engineer / SolidWorks
* Beneficial: ANSYS/ABAQUS or other FEA package; LabView or dSPACE; Matlab; Simulink; FlowMaster
In this critical role, the Principal Mechanical Engineer will manage multi-disciplinary teams on major development projects, apply your mechanical engineering abilities to create innovative designs & implement sophisticated technologies into new products
* Lead role in planning, proposal generation, liaison with clients, management of multidisciplinary teams, hands-on product development
* Use your strong technical skills to make significant contributions to development projects
* Work alongside design engineers to develop system requirements, liaise across other engineering disciplines
* In depth analysis of system elements using analytical tools
* Responsible for growth/development of thermo-fluidic expertise | | |
