SENIOR TEST ENGINEER / BUCKINGHAMSHIRE / £27K-£32K + BONUS & BENEFITS
* Fantastic opportunity for a Senior Test Engineer to focus on specification of test requirements for aerospace products & systems for a variety of project teams
* In this key role, the senior specialist engineer will ensure test equipment designs meet all product testing & test coverage requirements
* The interface to match production test equipment capabilities to product test requirements will need to be designed, procured & commissioned
* The varied position includes specifying test & interface requirements & implementing test scripts
* You will work with the Production Test Team to help specify & develop future production test capabilities
We are seeking applications from accomplished & experienced test engineers with experience of:
- Analogue & digital electronics design
- Programming in a modern high level language
- Simulation tools for electronic circuits
- Understanding of test distributions & statistics
- CAD
- Schematic capture
- Mechanical drawing
- Six sigma
- Lean manufacturing
* Your duties will include creating test specifications/documentation for a variety of development projects
* Procurement of test equipment to meet development engineering requirements
* Work with the Production Test Team to ensure development tests equipment evolve into production test equipment
* Work with Engineering Development Teams to ensure appropriate test coverage
* Document test requirements, test coverage/methods
* Develop test scripts for development testing
* Ensure development test scripts can be use for production testing
* Design, procure, commission test interface equipment
* Work with production test team to identify/develop future test capabilities | | |
