Description
TEST ENGINEER / BUCKINGHAMSHIRE / c£25K + BONUS & BENEFITS
* Fantastic opportunity for a Test Engineer to work primarily on testing Primary & Secondary Power Distribution boxes & cards
* This varied role encompasses testing units whilst the test procedure/test rig is still in development & also assisting in transition to normal production
* Subsequently you will move to an electronic engineering role once the transition to production has taken place
We are keen to hear from skilled Test Engineers with a mix of the following skills:
- Exp in an electronic engineering environment
- Knowledge of or exp with these software tools: Cadence Concept (schematic capture), PSPICE (circuit simulation), Saber (circuit simulation), Mathcad, Simulink, Matlab, DOORS
- Understanding of electrical generator operation
- Familiar with RTCA/DO-254
- Theoretical understanding of design for EMC
- Membership in IET
- Exp in military or civilian flight operations or maintenance
Tasks covered by this TEST ENGINEER role include:
* Test Primary & Secondary Distribution Units including Analogue & Digital circuits by using Automated & Manual Test Equipment during development
* Work closely with Test Equipment Engineers to identify test equipment & test documentation faults & assist in any improvement & productionisation activities
* Train other operators in the use of new test equipment
* Write failure mode reports for internal use & external communication to suppliers | | |
