Description
EMC Engineers / WILTSHIRE / £40K
* Excellent opportunity within Electrical & Electromagnetic Compatibility including responsibility for safe & effective conduct of specific test & evaluation tasks relating to military aircraft, weapons & vehicles within the project teams
* The challenging E&EMC assessments will encompass EMC, Integrity of electrical power generation & distribution systems & armament electrical safety disciplines
This varied role includes the following tasks:
- EMC of aircraft electrical, electronic & armament systems with respect to the aircraft's self generated Radio Frequency (RF) environment & the external RF environment
- Electrical integrity of electrical power generation, control & distribution systems to ensure requirements of aircraft design standards have been met
- Armament electrical safety of armament control systems & systems incorporating electro explosives devices, to ensure that the requirements of aircraft design standards have been met
- Principle activities in conduct of an evaluation are to capture the customer's E&EMC requirements, provide E&EMC input to bids to meet these requirements, establish evaluation strategy, define instrumentation & test facility requirements; aircraft build standards & role equipment configuration requirements | | |
