COMMERCIAL ANALYST: CONTRACTS & WARRANTY
WEST MIDLANDS / £28K-£35K + BENEFITS
* A Commercial Analyst is sought to support active management of commercial risks in contracts (via Contract Review), commercial warranty concerns & driving the implementation of Commercial Policy for customers across Europe & Asia Pacific
* The role includes supporting sales to provide appropriate best practice customer responses on a range of commercial issues
ESSENTIAL:
- Sound post graduate exp, preferably in an automotive related industry
- Strong Analytical ability
- Computer applications experience, particularly Access & Excel
- Flexible, self-motivated & able to work on own initiative
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Good team player
- Willing to travel/possibly work overseas for extended periods
- Commercial exp advantageous; particularly in contracts or warranty
- Certified Six Sigma Green belt
- Language skills, e.g German, French, or Chinese advantageous
ROLE:
* Commercial Analyst to support management of contracts on a customer account basis, in contract negotiations, & formal written responses, together with assistance for responses throughout the contractual chain
* Support Contract Review process; provide guidance re: Commercial Policy, executive summary generation, development of proposals, promote consistency across accounts
* Appraise commercial risks in agreements or other customer documents
* Commercial Assistance for warranty cost reduction activities* Analyse customer data* Ensure adherence to agreed terms for top pareto issues | | |
