Description
SENIOR APPLICATIONS ENGINEER / HAMPSHIRE / £NEG
* A Senior Applications Engineer is sought to assist in the design in & support current & new integrated circuits in the wireless & telecommunications field
* In this engaging role, you will talk to customers & customer visits will be required in order to help with the customer design-in of our ASICs. They will help with the board level development of new applications & with the support of existing product.
* Your professional approach will ensure adherence to project deadlines/cost objectives & provide customer satisfaction
* Applications are welcomed from System Engineers with broad electronic design, device testing & problem solving skills. Other skills sought include:
- Significant related Applications Engineering experience using integrated circuits & good debugging skills
- Thorough understanding of the theory behind electronic circuits & components such as analogue/digital PLLs
- System knowledge within network communication systems & C programming
- System design exp/understanding of telecommunication products
- In this varied role you will provide application/field support for Clock Synthesizers, Frequency Synthesizers & Synchronous Clocks from concept to production
- Interface with clients to resolve technical issues/develop clear, accurate specifications of tests, problems or new applications
- Work closely with Design/Marketing Teams developing technical specs/new product definition
- Resolve new product applications issues
- Characterise/verify final product application in intended systems
- Perform applications simulations/analyses to system level
- System level requirements will come in from Marketing/FAEs, where the applications engineer will need to engineer product for that application | | |
