Description
Production Engineer to be responsible for defining, modifying and improving manufacturing processes involved in the manufacture of electronics instruments and electro/mechanical equipment. You will require a minimum of 3 years experience as a production engineer with the ability to work on a wide variety of electronic, electrical and mechanical projects. A formal qualification in electrical or electronic engineering is sought.
Additional areas of involvement will include:-
manufacturing shop layout planning and facilities
solving problems associated with mechanical machined parts
the ability to read technical drawings and use mechanical measuring equipment
the use of test equipment and procedures and
training staff in production procedures.
The is a permanent production engineering position based on the outskirts of Croydon with a long-established and successful engineering company
