The Company
Our clients are a leading food processing company based within the West Yorkshire region, due to recent internal restructuring they are now looking to recruit a mechanical fitter to join their existing maintenance teams
The Role
Joining a multi-skilled engineering team working on a rotating shift basis you will provide planned and unplanned maintenance support to the site.
Working to a planned maintenance program as well as carrying out reactive maintenance, you will perform fault diagnosis and undertake repairs on pneumatic and hydraulic equipment as well as carrying out in-process adjustments in the repair of production equipment.
You will be responsible for a variety of high-speed production machinery within the food industry. You will be working on conveyor systems, Fillers, Coders, packaging machinery etc and utilities plant.
Hours & Days: rotating 3 shift system of 6am-2pm 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am
About You
The ideal candidate for this role will be apprentice trained with at least 3 years experience in an industrial environment. Basic electrical skills would be an advantage
