Description Summary of the role To participate in US/UK interchanges and provide Design Authority support to in service components.
Key accountabilities · To provide Design Authority support for aspects of component performance, safety and life prediction and external interactions on in support of the Design Manager

Knowledge, Qualifications, Experience & Skills · Good understanding of the principles of engineering design, manufacture, configuration control and nuclear warhead design and qualification. · HNC/HND/Degree in an engineering or science based area · Additional professional status would be encouraged · Experience in the field of engineering, especially in the design/development/trialling of components · Good communication skills, both written and oral · Computer literate and experience with Microsoft Office
Special Requirements · Must be willing to work in RA and Explosive environments · Undertake official travel in the UK and overseas in support of the above duties
