The European Technical Centre in Milton Keynes is the hub of innovation and excellence, providing design and development and technical support for the European market. Engineers from many European countries and Japan work together to provide top technical expertise to our customers.
We are looking for a graduate electronics engineer experienced in the application of industrial electronics, ideally in the process, control and automation industries. It is essential to have experience of configuring and using Fieldbus systems, ideally also with PLC, VB, C and assembler programming skills.
The key aspects of the role are to provide technical support to our user, which involves investigating and resolving application issues. and to work on the development and design of new and special products in house and with external suppliers. This person will also need to maintain contact with and be able to survey the market area, analyse user requirements and define market trends.
Occasional travel within Europe to customer sites and exhibitions will be a requirement of this role. There might be opportunities to travel to Japan to liaise with the main product development department when necessary.
