Cleveland
Our client is a heavy engineering company based on the border of North Yorkshire/Cleveland.
They currently have exciting opportunities for Mechanical Fitters who hold a recognised apprenticeship to join their company. Working as part of the maintenance team you will be responsible for troubleshooting, routine and breakdown maintenance to ensure the plant operates in a safe, efficient and effective manner.
To be successful in this role you must have a recognised apprenticeship as a Mechanical Fitter and be fully qualified to operate laser equipment. Applicants will have an understanding of health and safety legislations and will be familiar with Risk Assessments. You should have excellent organisation and communication skills and will work well using your own initiative and within a team. Although not essential as full training will be provided, it would be an advantage if you have Process plant experience.
They have positions available for both shift and day work.
