Description
Facilities Quantity Surveyor required for a large automotive manufacturer for the construction project team which operates and maintains site infrastructure & utilities. You should• be working towards or hold a relevant degree or equiv relating to QS within construction projects, member of RICS or working towards membership plus demonstrable experience within a QS role within construction projects.

Key Role & Responsibilities
The group is looking to strengthen it’s Quantity Surveying element within the construction project team with the appointment of QS Engineering Staff.
Responsibilities:
• Manage procurement strategies
• Manage tender process including tender package and evaluation
• Development of construction project budgets and cost plans
• Manage and control project budgets including control of variation and change order
• Manage payment application process
• Management and control of contract documents
• Potential support with European construction projects
• Manage team of QS staff
Person Specification
• Working towards or possesses relevant degree or equivalent relating to QS within construction projects
• Member of RICS or working towards membership
• Demonstrable experience within a QS role within construction projects
