Description A Product Training Manager position, reporting to the Customer Support Manager of Cummins Generator Technologies, you will be responsible for scheduling regular training programmes to meet customer’s requirements and achieve set annual targets. Provide support to Service partners, intra-company with product training seminars and training material. Conduct regular customer satisfaction matrix for continuous improvement to existing offering. This will suit an electrical engineer with generator set product knowledge and comprehension of complex circuit diagrams, engineering drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and provide product training to all customers on company’s products past and present whilst consistently meeting customer’s needs Travel and provide training at customer’s sites as well as in house Effective communication and presentation of training material to provide leverage for value package offering Conduct, analyse and maintain customer satisfaction matrix for continuous improvements. Prepare, update and improve product training modules Distribute software to intra-company to authorised personnel and provide technical support for specialist requirements Research and develop suitable software for new product launches linking to Cummins new product introduction plans Maintain records of update distribution lists for training CDs Train the trainer seminars for internal and approved service partners
Essential Skills: HNC in Electrical Engineering (degree an advantage) Second language desirable Detailed product and application knowledge with experience with generator sets and related equipment preferably in the design, maintenance, electrical test or inspection PC skills particularly PowerPoint Ability to understand complex circuit diagrams, engineering drawings and specifications Ability to discuss generator associated control systems including paralleling, power factor control, and electrical power distribution schemes and protection systems | | |
