Description
To drive resolution of cross functional package issues through package meetings
Perform clearance checks to validate package integrity, reporting issues and raising deviations where appropriate.
Organise and prepare data for Virtual Verification events in line with vehicle program timing
Support release process with package sign off checks
BOM and CAD comparative analysis
Document package target compliance in support of program gateways
Policies and Procedures:
Clearance checking using Vis- Mockup and TCe
Using clearance results to effect the Engineering Release process and the Product Deviation Request process
Analysis following the Virtual Series elements of AMPCS
Utilise WCR / SDS requirements
Microsoft office
Complexities:
Integration of multi-functional groups through a common package aim. Resolution of these cross functional issues may require assistance from the Virtual Verification manager, appropriate PMT leaders and Chief Engineers.
Preferably educated to degree / HND level in Mechanical / Automotive engineering
Ideal candidates will have experience in product development, preferably with a package bias
CAD trained with IDEAS / NX, Vis Mockup and TCe.
The successful candidate must be able to operate in a flexible team environment, requiring strong interpersonal skills. A drive to resolve problems and overcome issues is essential .A passion for sports cars and an understanding of the luxury product segment would be an advantage.
