Salary - £30-£35k depending on experience
A large aerospace manufacturing company are looking for Supplier Quality Engineer who will be responsible for improving Supplier Quality performance. This will involve driving root cause analysis of rejected material and implementing direct ship to line.
Key responsibilities
§Drive supplier quality management in line with AS EN 9100 and SC21 requirements
§Implement Supplier Quality Metrics and drive improvement plans with suppliers
§Ensure best practice is adopted within the supply chain to ensure highest levels of product integrity
§Drive prioritised supplier non conformance management and root cause analysis
§Ensure Quality Assurance for new and existing suppliers including audits, FAI and change control process management
§Ensure accurate flow down of Quality requirements to suppliers throughout Product Lifecycle
Experience required
§Self starter with a desire for problem solving and process improvement
§Proven background in Quality Assurance and thorough understanding of Quality tools and techniques
§Understanding of key aerospace Quality Standards such as AS EN 9100, NADCAP
§Professional conduct and good communication skills to influence both internally and externally
§Attention to detail and methodical approach
