Description
Sales Account Executive with a mechanical or chemical engineering qualification and/or industry experience to support the sale of Oil/Gas products in the UK & Global markets.
Working as a member of a large internal engineering sales team supporting the sale of company engineered products to control the process flow of liquids within the petrochemical, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
You will act as both a technical and commercial point of contact for customers, agents and associate companies on a global basis.
You will handle technical sales projects on a 'cradle to grave' basis, dealing with technical enquiries. You will use your mechanical or chemical engineering knowledge to guide customers, dealing with initial enquiries, costing/pricing and providing sales quotations.
You will build strong working relationships with customers, agents and will resolve application problems and propose suitable technical solutions. You will also be involved in the handling of orders to include production of technical commercial documents, export procedures, dealing with suppliers, shipping and invoicing department and visiting inspectors, sales agents and field sales staff.
This role would be suitable for a recent graduate in mechanical or chemical engineering seeking a career in commercial engineering as well as more experienced technical sales individuals.
