ENGINEERING PROJECTS MANAGER
INTERNATIONAL PEST CONTROL INDUSTRY
BASED WEST SUSSEX/SURREY
ATTRACTIVE PACKAGE
An experienced and pro-active Project Manager is required to join the world leading provider of pest control services. You will provide specific engineering day to day support to Technical, Scientific, Marketing and Commercial personnel within the European Technical Centre business and its global customers, the successful candidate will support the growth and profitability of our client’s business in a wide-ranging role which will include conceptual design, reengineering and facilities management of the new technical centre.
You will be working to support the European Technical Centre operations in identifying and evaluating new product developments and technology platforms for technical and commercial potential, as well as managing the day to day operational facilities requirements of the European Technical Centre. In addition to this you will manage the Quality Assurance requirements of the site and our client’s suppliers, communicate with marketing functions on given projects and, where necessary, provide the experimental data to support key in house products.
The role will also encompass support of the Operational Service Best Practice team in their role of transferring best in class pest control solutions into the global businesses, and support of the Technical Services team to gain regulatory compliance of new developments. You will participate in the global Technical Network by contributing basic technical support and advice where required.
Qualified to degree level or above in a recognised Science/Technical based discipline, you will have a proven record of project management with a background in experimental testing and technical report writing. Experience of engaging with internal/external customers, manufacturers and suppliers and expertise in the management of appropriate quality control systems, facilities services management, project management and product validation against initial specification would be a distinct advantage.
You will be a team player with maturity and the ability to stand up for your personal convictions, functional strategy and company ethics. A flair for creative problem solving as well as strong technical/commercial and entrepreneurial qualities and an established track record of excellent customer support are also required.
