Description Summary of the role To implement and manage tasks as directed by Operations Manager and planning team. To provide management of the process supervisor and process workers within the operational area. To review and approve process and procedural documentation for implementation.
Key accountabilities · Accountable for delivery of programme requirements within the Production Area · Accountable to the Facility Manager for the safe operation and practices within the Area
Knowledge, Qualifications, Experience, Skills · Manufacturing Principles · Knowledge of pyrochemical recovery techniques · Application of manufacturing systems, e.g. Lean, Continuous improvement, etc · Safety requirements for undertaking operations in a hazardous facility · HNC Science/Engineering · Management experience in a manufacturing area · Radio Active experience preferred · Operations management skills · Project and personnel management · Effective oral and written communication, computer literacy · Able to operate in and communicate in a multi-disciplined environment
Special Requirements · Fit to operate as a Monitored/Classified Radiation Worker
