A large aerospace manufacturing company with a strong order book and assured future are looking for a project manager with experience of running projects in the region of £2 million.
Job Summary
To project manage a number of ATC projects delivering each to cost, schedule and customer requirements. The sizes of projects to be undertaken vary from large scale bespoke developments to smaller, build to print activities. In all cases the Project Manager is required to assist in the interfacing of all disciplines involved. Key responsibilities Deliver project to schedule and budgeted cost. Provide leadership and direction to all projects for which you are responsible. Direct, motivate and manage the performance of each project IPT to ensure achievement of project objectives. Be the primary point of contact for the project as defined by the company process. Define, monitor and control the project ensuring the standard project documentation is generated for each project: Assessing and monitoring programme risk and opportunities. Manage the interface with the customer through regular meetings and telecoms to ensure all expectations are met and we are achieving high levels of customer satisfaction. Communicating the status and progress to the project team.
Experience required Successful Project Management of development projects exceeding £2 Million. Computer literate, including Microsoft Project and Microsoft Word. Experience of military projects desirable.
Qualifications required Degree qualified
