Our client, founded in 1903, has become the leading producer of high strength aerospace fasteners and industrial socket screws.
Due to the successful and significant growth of the business, they are looking to recruit a Production Engineer who has an in depth knowledge of machining. The main purpose of this role is to ensure that new products, processes and projects are produced in an efficient manner and meet with quality standards. You will be capable of estimating costs and lead times and will have the ability to manage the installation of new machinery and equipment. At times you will support the engineering team to help resolve tooling production problems.
To be successful in this role you must have come from an engineering or manufacturing background with experience of using AutoCad. You should be a self-motivated and hard working individual with excellent organisation skills and have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages is essential for this role.
