Description
Mechanical Engineer (ideally someone with a strong academic record including a good degree 1st or 2.1 in mechanical engineering) required within the Hertfordshire area. Our client is one of Europe?s leading technology development and engineering company. with around 300 staff developing technologies, products and manufacturing processes in fields that range from wireless communications and digital printing through to medical devices and life science instrumentation
You role will involve:
? engineering and detailed design of print heads and systems, for industrial and commercial applications
? a leading position in the roll-out of its ground-breaking digital printing technology
You will ideally be someone with the following:
? A strong academic record including a good degree (1st or 2.1) in mechanical engineering
? Postgraduate experience in precision mechanical system design
? Experience in handling designs from development into the production environment (design for manufacture)
? A solid understanding of engineering materials and processes
? understanding of fluid systems and properties, possibly gained in the field of printing or medical systems
? familiar with 3D CAD (preferably Solid works)
