CONTRACT (CATIA) CAD ENGINEERS
AUTOMOTIVE EXHAUST SYSTEMS
BASED WARTON, LANCASHIRE
With operations in nineteen countries and 7,500 employees worldwide, our client is a leader in the global emission technology industry serving light and commercial vehicle manufacturers worldwide.
Due to expanding business they are now looking for contract CAD Engineers to join a well-established commercial vehicle design team in Warton, Lancashire responsible for the production of effective design solutions for original equipment Emissions Systems.
Qualified to HNC level in an appropriate engineering discipline, you will have substantial knowledge and experience of Catia V5 and experience of importing/exporting igs/step/native data formats. Knowledge and experience of Pro-Engineer Wildfire 3 would be an advantage.
Preferably from an automotive background with some Commercial Vehicle experience, you will ideally have some knowledge of emissions. You must have excellent drafting skills and GDT experience as well as experience of detail design and sheet metal design and development. You must also be proficient in all MS Office packages.
During the course of any project, the design/drafting requirements will be variable depending on the maturity of the design so you must have flexible approach to your work and be willing to support a mixture of both concept design and drafting.
You will be willing to work additional hours as required.
