Description
SYSTEM TEST MANAGER / CAMBRIDGESHIRE / £35K-£50K + BENEFITS
* Exciting position at a rapidly growing fabless semiconductor company leading the delivery of high speed wireless connectivity for PC peripherals & portable consumer electronics devices such as digital cameras, camcorders, & cellular handsets
* Working in the Engineering Department, the System Test Manager will report to the Software Manager & play a critical role ensuring solutions meet end user/customer requirements & all deliverables are fit for purpose
* Would suit applicants with application testing experience gained in a dynamic environment with previous leadership exp
Applications welcomed from skilled SYSTEM TEST MANAGERS with:
* Technical/business exp in Applications or Systems Test environment, including line management
* Strong understanding of test/automation technologies from technical & business perspective; specifically writing Test Plans, Specs & Reports
Other experience to include:
- Embedded software test
- Wireless Networking devices/Communications Systems, e.g Bluetooth & WiFi
- Windows XP, Windows Vista & Mac OS 10.x
- Scripting languages (Perl, Python, shell scripts) for automating tests
- Defect tracking systems/version control systems
- System testing in real-time environments
- Use Case Analysis
- Managed/sustained diverse relationships
- Pro-active in capitalising on opportunities/resolving issues | | |
