APPLICATIONS HARDWARE ENGINEER / BUCKINGHAMSHIRE / £35K-£40K + BENEFITS
* Challenging position for an Applications Hardware Engineer to develop high-quality reference designs & demonstration platforms for audio noise cancellation products, including user documentation
* In this varied position you will provide technical applications support of audio noise cancellation products at an IC system level to internal & external customers, for hardware &/or software
* You will also ensure new design wins & maintain existing design wins through support of the Application Engineer & Field Applications Engineering network
We are keen to hear from APPLICATIONS HARDWARE ENGINEERS with skills as follows:
- Degree or equiv in Electronic or Electrical Engineering
- Significant exp as an Applications Engineer in the semiconductor industry or with considerable relevant exp of consumer product design/test
- Expertise in analogue/mixed signal circuit design, audio subsystems & low power portable design
- Strong analytical skills/cognitive abilities combined with logical approach to problem solving
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to translate complex product concepts into an easy-to-understand form
- Initiative/ability to deal with constantly evolving priorities/competing demands
DESIRABLE:
* Customer facing exp in engineering
* Exp in Noise cancelling techniques
* Embedded software exp in C
* Understanding of EMC directive/achieving compliance
