Description Due to internal re-distribution of resource, an opportunity has arisen with my clients organisation for a spares buyer.
Based in Warwickshire within easy access of the M6, my client are a global supplier of industrial machinery.? This particular division is responsible for the spares and maintenance operation covering the UK & EIRE, US, African and Eastern European markets.
You will be responsible for the efficient procurement and management of an annual spend of approx £1m and a total stock holding of £1.5m over an estimated 10,000 product lines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Placing and progressing purchase orders with UK and European suppliers
- Import / Export Administration
- Logistics responsibility both nationally and internationally
- Administration of goods in / out
- Resolving purchase and supplier queries
- Effective and efficient management of the Company's spares stock
- Potential requirement for travel to UK and European based suppliers, although this will not be a frequent requirement. Key Skills Required:
- Demonstrable experience within a purchasing environment, preferably within a spares or MRO capacity.
- Able to work as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Excellent attention to detail
- Positive 'can do' attitude
- This is an urgent requirement so immediate availability or a short notice period would be highly advantageous. Benefits Include:
